Mandarin Chinese Courses
You will find just the right program for you at the Indy Foreign Language Academy. We offer programs for all children, teens, students, adults and business executives. Classes are offered at our offices, as well as at your location, virtually over the Internet and by DVD. Conversational Chinese I
Students in our introductory course learn basic Chinese conversation, including greetings and everyday vocabulary while also familiarizing themselves with basic writing and Chinese culture.

Conversational Chinese II
If you've already studied the basics of the language, our advanced beginning class is your starting point. Students learn vocabulary and structure while also discussing Chinese culture.

Intermediate Chinese I
你讲中文吗? If you have a basic knowledge of Chinese grammar, but need to brush up on your skills and want to break out of basic Chinese, then our intermediate level course is for you! This class builds on the basics of Chinese grammar, while introducing the student to more complex forms and working on proper tones. Students enrolled in this course also improve their conversational skills.

Intermediate Chinese II
Our advanced intermediate course focuses on building vocabulary and improving semantics as students practice everyday conversation. Students prepare to rely on Chinese as the sole means of communication.

Advanced Chinese Conversation
If you have studied Chinese for some time and already have a good grasp of the language, this class is for you. Students in our Advanced Conversation classes improve their speaking and listening skills through an entirely conversation-based program with a native instructor.

Culture in Focus: China
For students who plan to travel for business or who will not need to speak a foreign language during their trip, we offer "Culture in Focus" classes that examine the cultural differences between the United States and the destination coutry.
